Benefit Watt's Up Highlighter and They're Real Mascara Review

With my birthday just around the corner and being a Sephora Beauty Insider I was able to pick up a sample set of Benefit's Watt's Up Highlighter and They're Real Mascara.

I have tried Benefit's They're Real Mascara before so I was curious to try out the highlighter as I had heard good things.

Benefit's They're Real Mascara is a great choice for lengthening your lashes. One coat gives me long lashes with little hassle. Also I find that there is minimal clumping with the mascara. It lasts all day with no transfer on my eyelids or undereye area. They're Real Mascara is great for lengthening your lashes but I find that it doesn't give me a lot of volume. I've been trying it paired with the Maybelline One by One Mascara and they work great together. Benefit's They're Real gives length while the Maybelline One by One Mascara gives me volume. Review of the Maybelline Mascara here.

Benefit's Watt's Up is a cream-to-powder champaign highlighter. I've always preferred cream highlighters as I find them easier to work with. Benefit claims this highlighter gives a smooth application and a luminous sheen. I'd have to agree. Benefit's Watt's Up is easy to apply and blends on the cheekbones easily. It's a nice champaign colour with shimmer that provides a nice glow to the cheekbones. The shimmer is fine so it provides a nice sheen as Benefit claims without you looking like a disco ball. I skip on a brush when using this and just apply it with my fingertips.

Overall, this is a great set from Benefit. Both of which achieve its claim. If you're not already signed up as a Beauty Insider with Sephora I highly suggest you do. It's free and who doesn't love free deluxe samples from Sephora.
