So I thought it'd be appropriate to share my summer nail polish essentials.
I've had these photos taken since June .... better late than never.
Warning: This post is picture heavy.
Essie Penny Talk: Beautiful rose gold metallic polish. Opaque in one coat. Came out last year but I've seen it available in stores since then.
Essie Knockout Pout: One of my favourite pinks. Medium warm toned pink. It definitely needs a top coat as it dries matte.
Essie Cute as a Button: Love this shade on the toes. I would describe this shade a medium/dark pink than leans to the coral side.
Essie Borrowed & Blue: A pale pale pale blue. It leans on the white side that only looks good during the summer time. This was in a past wedding collection but I've seen it in stores numerous times since then.
Essie Bikini So Teeny: This shade was so hard to find. Every Shoppers/Trade Secrets was sold out of this shade for the longest time. Finally found it and snatched it up! It's a cornflower blue with slight shimmer. The shimmer is hardly noticeable, only really see it in the sunlight.
Essie Turquoise & Caicos: You guessed it. A turquoise shade. It's pretty sheer and needs about three coats to look opaque. Nonetheless, love this colour.
OPI Teenage Dream: I feel bad about showing this. It was limited edition a couple years ago and probably the most beautiful glitter I own. I adore this shade. If you ever spot it I highly highly recommend you pick it up!
China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy: This shade is bright!! Coral/peachy pink great for summer. Love this shade on the toes!
Butter London Snog: My second Butter London polish. This bright pink is opaque in one coat which is great for those days when you're running out of time to do your nails!
And finally - Illamasqua Jo'mina: Most vibrant purple I own. Adore this colour. Only con is that it can get a bit thick to apply. But the colour is too pretty to pass on.
So there they are.
Just some of my go to nail polish this time of the year.
What are some of your favourite polishes for the summer?
