This has been a really busy week for me at work and I've usually been running out the door in the morning. Makeup also has been really really simple this past week with just the basics. Here are some of my everyday staples this past week.

First up, lets talk about this super cute Kate Spade mini notebook that I had to share. Picked this up when I was at chapters a couple of weeks ago and totally in love with it! I was meaning to get a small notebook to have in my purse because I prefer to write my notes with pen and paper. So when I saw this notebook, I had to have it!

Now onto the makeup! Got a sample of the Benefit Stay Flawless Primer from my last Sephora order. I've been using this primer all week and can attest that it's kept my foundation intact all day! On top of the primer I've been wearing Makeup Forever HD Foundation. This foundation has been talked about so much but I can say that it's worth the hype. I've either been applying it with a sponge (post on that soon!) or my fingers. Both options have worked great on me and the foundation gives a nice medium coverage. Concealer has been much required this week. I've fallen in love again with the Collection Lasting Concealer that I picked up when I was in England this past summer. It gives great coverage but make sure to blend it out with a brush or sponge to avoid creasing!

Now an old goodie. The Covergirl Lashblash Volume. A couple of weeks ago I was in need of a new mascara and decided to pick this up after years of not using it. I don't know why I haven't repurchased this in soo long. It's such a good mascara that curls and makes my lashes look long and full.

Finally, another European purchase. The Embroylisse Lait Creme. I've been using this before any makeup in the morning around my chin area. My skin has been unusually dry around my chin so I make sure to slather this on before my makeup to avoid any dry patches.

Aside from blush this has been pretty much what I've been using this past week. Next week I'll talk all about the blush I've been wearing!
