NARS Sheer Glow Foundation Review

Hey everyone, hope you've had a great long weekend!

Today's post is all about my current go-to foundation, NARS Sheer Glow. This is such a cult favourite that I finally picked it up after my last foundation finished up.

People either hate or love this foundation. I don't know if I love it but it'a nice foundation. The coverage is light if you're doing one coat but it can be built up to medium coverage. I tend to go over spots that need more coverage after my first layer.

I find that the best application is with a wet sponge. I've been neglecting all my foundation brushes lately as I find a wet sponge gives a really nice application without streak marks. I've also used this foundation with the Real Techniques Buffing Brush and I wasn't a fan of how my foundation turned out. It wasn't streaky but it looked heavy on my skin. So I've stuck to wet sponges for now.

The longevity of this foundation is alright, it last throughout the day for me but near the end of the day I see that the foundation is more sheer and the coverage isn't as great as in the morning. I do set this foundation in the morning but tend to not touch up throughout the day. I only touch up if I'm going somewhere after work and I want to freshen up my makeup a bit.

Overall, I think this is a good foundation. Is it my favourite foundation? No, I don't think so. It provides decent coverage and does its job. But I don't think I'll be repurchasing this right away after I finish this bottle. The next foundation on my list is the new NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation as I've been hearing a lot of good things about it.

What are some of your favourite foundations?
