Products Used Up - Time to Recycle

Hey everyone!

Work life has been pretty crazy the past few months - hence the lack of posts. Slowly coming back into the blogger world with my used up products (finally time to throw out my recycling)!

First up, skincare!

Finished up a bottle of the Vichy Purete Thermale 3-in-1 One Step Cleanser*. Actually, I finished two bottles of this but threw out the second one. I really like this cleanser. It's gentle and I can even use it around my eye area to wash off my eye makeup. I will note that if you're wearing heavy eye makeup, this won't get rid of everything. But as a one step product for regular makeup days, this does the trick.

On that note, I also finished the Vichy Purete Thermle 3-in-1 One Step Solution* and Bioderma Sensible H2O Micelle Solution. Both these cleansing waters are great for getting rid of makeup. I don't like to use these as my only form of cleanser but as the first step in my skincare routine. I'm not able to tell a difference between these two cleansing waters. They both perform well and get rid of makeup but also don't irritate my eye area. I'd repurchase either of them!

Now on to the First Aid Beauty Products. First, the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. This is a product that I've finished numerous times. I love this cream. It's the only cream that gets my hands through the cold Canadian winters. It's also gentle enough to use on my face if needed. I highly recommend this cream. I just finished another bottle and already have a backup ready. Also in love with the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads. I tend to use these every other day to exfoliate. Never had an issue with them irritating my face. Already have two backups ready to go of these pads.

Another product I loved was The Body Shop's Virgin Mojito Body Scrub*. This came out last year and I fell in love with the scent. Really hope The Body Shop brings this scent back!

Now on to the makeup. Makeup takes me forever to finish - hence the minimal items in this post. Benefit's They're Real mascara is one of my favourite mascaras of all time. Gives me long lasting volume but that comes with a price. It's one of the hardest mascaras to get rid off. So if you're thinking of picking this up, make sure you have a good eye makeup remover. I also really enjoyed Benefit's Roller Lash mascara - currently using it at the moment again. I think this is a great day time mascara as it defines the lashes and gives nice volume. Also finished Covergirl's Super Sizer* mascara. This mascara has a really weird wand but it worked nicely. Gave nice volume - but I prefer the original Lash Blast mascara by Covergirl over this.

Lastly, brow products. Mornings are usually rushed for me, so taking time to do my brows is not an option. Brow gels have become my best friend - they keep my brows in place but also make them a bit fuller. Benefit Gimme Brow is my favourite from the brow gels I've used. It has fibers that help my brows look fuller and takes  me about 10 seconds to do my brows in the morning. A cheaper alternative is the Gosh Defining Brow Gel*. I also liked this brow gel - kept my brows in place throughout the day. But I do prefer the Benefit brow gel as the fibers make a big difference.

That's it!

I'll try to make these type of posts on a more regular basis as these are some of my favourite posts to read!
