Recent Purchases

Hey everyone!

Online shopping has become a new addiction. One of the sites I frequently visit is Sephora ... which has resulted in a few bits being purchases over the past couple of months. I wanted to share with you some of my recent purchases - look out for reviews in the coming weeks!

When the new collection from Becca in collaboration with Jaclyn Hill was announced I knew it would be selling out pretty quickly. I ordered the Champaign Collection Face Palette when it was first available online. The palette is as expected - gorgeous and very pigmented. If you're interested in picking one up, I recently saw the Eaton Centre location in Toronto had them in stock.

I've been wanting to try the Tarte Tartelette eye palette for a very long time. But it had been out of stock for months online! Mid June I noticed it finally came back in stock and managed to pick one up for myself. I've been playing around with this palette and so far I'm loving it! Will be making a in depth review of this palette soon!

Another palette that I was contemplating buying was the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani palette. I loved the selection of colours but was on the fence about buying it since I do have similar colours in my collection. But when I saw it go on sale for $35 I went ahead and purchased it. Haven't played around with this but will post an in depth review in the coming weeks!

Recently also picked up the Smashbox Liquid Lipstick in Bawse. I wore this once and loved the red colour. I think this is a gorgeous classic red!

During the month of June I was on vacation in Spain and Greece. For my trip I wanted to get a tinted moisturizer to wear when I wanted to have makeup on. Picked up the Tinted Moisturizer from Laura Mercier as I had previously tried a sample of this. Really like this tinted moisturizer and I've continued using it now that I'm back from my vacation.

Lastly, I picked up two new blushes from Becca. From their new range, I purchased the Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush in Snapdragon. This is a gorgeous coral shade. You got to be careful not to apply too much because it's very pigmented. The second blush was from the Mineral Blush range in Flowerchild. This shade is  a gorgeous peachy/pink that applies beautifully on the cheeks.
