Current Go-To Blushes Ft. Too Faced, Burberry & NARS

I was never that big into blushes. I always gravitated towards eye and lip products and mainly stuck to one blush. Well over the past year I've expanded my blush collection and now have staple products that I always go back to.

Find out more below!

First up, let's talk about the blush that's been here the longest - NARS Deep Throat. As we all know NARS tends to get a bit creative with their product naming. That aside, this shade is a must all year round for me. It's a gorgeous peachy/pink with gold shimmer throughout it. At first glance one would think this only works for summer/spring but it looks gorgeous on the checks all year round. It gives the face a nice flushed look without being too over the top. I grab this shade whenever I'm not sure what to pair with an eye/lip look. I find it works well with a neutral or even a dramatic eye look.

While we're in the realm of NARS, another current favourite is Goulue. This is actually the current free gift for anyone reaching VIB Rouge status in 2016. You can also purchased a full size if you're a VIB Rouge member. This is a berry shade with very fine shimmer. When paired with a berry lip it looks amazing.

Next up - Too Faced Love Flush Long Lasting 16-Hour Blush in Baby Love. This is my only Too Faced blush and I'm soo happy with it. I picked this up after hearing ttsandra raving about it. The girl knows what she's talking about. This is a my go-to blush for work. It defines the cheeks but also gives a gorgeous flush. Baby Love is a muted rose shade that works for both day and night. I find that this blush does last throughout the day, but maybe not the full 16 hours it claims. I've had this blush for about a year now and I've made a significant dip into the product.

Lastly, my most recent addition to the collection, Burberry Light Glow Blush in Tangerine. As many have said before the name of the blush is a tad misleading. It's not a true tangerine shade but more of a peachy/nude. I love how smooth and buttery this blush is. You definitely get your money's worth with this blush. One side note - it has a pretty heavy fragrance. The scent hits you right when you open the blush. Scent aside, this is an amazing blush. It gives a nice glow to the cheeks with subtle colour. This is also a great choice for work but also paired with a dramatic eye look.

There you have it! My current go-to blushes. I wouldn't be able to pick just one but I have to say that I've had NARS Deep Throat for a long time (as evident in the picture) but I'm made a comparable dip into Too Faced Baby Love in only a year.
