Glo Minerals Bold Pursuit Collection Review

Today's post is all about glo minerals. Previous to this, I had never tried any of the glo minerals products. I got the chance to play around with their new limited edition Bold Pursuit Collection. Check out what I thought below!

Lipstick in Date Night and Precision Eye Pencil in Peach

L-R: Precision Eye Pencil in Peach, Creme Stay Shadow Stick in Toast and Echo

Liquid Liner in Black

The Bold Pursuit Collection covers an entire holiday look. I applied all these products when I was testing them out and I was ready to head out to a party!

We'll start of with my favourite product - the lipstick in Date Night. This is a gorgeous raspberry shade. It has a slight sheen to it so it's not completely matte. It looks amazing on the lips but it's also very comfortable to wear. It lasts through eating with minimal touch ups. As the name suggests, this is a great shade for a date night. I'm actually going to be wearing this shade at an upcoming event I have.

Let's move on to the eyes now. Creme shadow sticks have become my new favourite thing. I somehow have accumulated quite a few over the past couple of months ... not really sure what's happened. Nonetheless these two don't disappoint. The real winner of the two is the shade Toast - a gold shade with shimmer. This looks gorgeous paired with Date Night lipstick. I also found that this blended out very easily just by using my fingers but also blended well when mixed with Echo. Both of these did crease on me halfway through the day, but I think applying an eyeshadow primer will help - sidetone, I have pretty oily eyelids.

Now you may be surprised to hear this was my first liquid liner I've tried in this old school setup. Over the years I've mainly stuck to liquid eyeliner pens or gel liners. Even though I wasn't used to this type of liner, this was super easy to use. I was able to get a very thin line with little practice. The liner is also super black with a glossy finish.

The set also comes with a Precision Eye Pencil in peach. This is a great colour to use on the waterline as it brightens the eyes. I found that it wasn't hard to apply and glided on the eyes smoothly.

Overall, I'm really impressed with the Bold Pursuit Collection. My favourite product is the Date Night lipstick and I can't wait to try more products from glo minerals!
